A little about Poros

Poros is a small, but green island, situated close at mainland Peloponessos. Poros city itself situated beautifully, has a lovely sea front with many taverns and cafe, from where there is view towards the mainland and Galatas. (see Loutraki)

There are small taxi boats to beaches on the island and mainland (Aliki). Taxi boats and car ferry( and moped) between Poros and Galatas. Moped rent is inexpensive - but car rentals in Galatas by Helena Tours (more cheap).

It is cosy to sit on the "Gun-square", beside the museum for "after sun" and have view over the harbour.
