A little about Skiathos/Skopelos

This trip was created as an combination, the airport is on Skiathos - and You sail with seaplane to Skopelos. We recommend to take Skopelos first, and afterwards Skiathos - where the airport is as told before.

Both islands are green and with many good beaches, and good possibilities to drive around on a moped - a car/automobile is not necessary on account of the sizes of the islands.

There are many taverns, cafe, lovely sea front, affairs etc. Both islands are very charming and beautiful, is it a question about Your temperament. To us is Skopelos number 1 here is hardly not so many "tourists" - more quiet, than on Skiathos. On Skiathos there is much more nightlife. Excursion to Metheora on the mainland - expensive - but indescribable, something You shall and must experience, to see the quite characteristic landscape with the 300 m high rocks on which there are built monasteries. (It is from one of these, one James Bond movie was shoot).

On Skopelos there is a Kafenion at the sea front.

Tjæreborg, Skopelos 1.rooms on Nicolaos, very good apartment with bath/toilet and balcony, book number 5, so You have view to the town - only 5 minutes walk away.

On Skiathos, we have stayed both inside and outside to the city, but here we prefers to live inside the city (despite noise), because the main road is dangerous to walk on - quite a lot of traffic.
